Oslo Peace For Business Award Goes To Equity Group CEO

Equity Group Managing Director Dr. James Mwangi on Wednesday won the prestigious 2020 Oslo Business for Peace Award. It is also described as the “Nobel Prize for Business.” Winners are chosen by a prestigious Award Committee consisting of past Nobel Prize winners in Peace and Economics. Current committee members are Ouided Bouchamaoui (Tunisia), Leymah Gbowee (Liberia), Finn Kydland (Norway), and Eric Maskin (USA).

Dr. Mwangi is credited with the revolution of Kenya’s banking industry by bridging the gap between the sector and the ordinary Kenyan.
